A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 1997, in Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes for Monte Allan Lane , who died Feb. 24 of hypertension at age 69.
Mr. Lane was born Oct. 24, 1927, in Portland. He served in the merchant marine and U.S. Navy Reserve. A truck driver for Consolidated Freightways, he retired in 1993. He married Nettie Cool in 1947.
Survivors include his wife, daughters, Donna Morton of Reno, Nev., and Connie Farrens of Heppner; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
