Gomer L. Chick of 853 East "A" Street, Ontario, passed away Wednesday morning at 6:00 o'clock, following an illness of 9 days.
Mr. Chick was born November 8, 1910, in Republic, Kansas. He was married to Miss Laura Jones in 1937, and at that time moved from Republic Kansas, to Hebron, Nebraska. Mr. Chick and his family moved to California in 1950, and have lived in this vicinity since that time.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Laura Chick, he is survived by a daughter, Oma Chick, and a son, Loy Chick, both at the family home; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Forest (sic) Chick, Hebron, Nebraska; and a brother, Kermit Chick of El Monte.
Funeral services were held in Todd Memorial North Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Rev. J. Ernest Murphey of Ontario officiated. Interment will be made in the Pomona Cemetery.
