According to Miss Watson's death records she was a teacher and passed on September 30th which is different than the death date on her head stone by one day. Her death records also state that she was single at the time of her death and that she was a teacher.
Miss Watson earned an A. B. Degree in Mathematics from Winthrop College (now Winthrop University) in Rock Hill, S. C.For many years she taught Algebra II & Plane Geometry at Harry P. Harding High School, Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, N. C.
