Sr. Jacquelyn (Dolores) Ebben OSF, 75, died Aug. 20 at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. Sr. Jacquelyn, a graduate of Holy Family College in Manitowoc served as an elementary teacher in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan and Ohio. In the Diocese of Green Bay, she taught at St. Paul and St. Andrew, Manitowoc; St. Ann, Francis Creek; St. Aloysius, Kaukauna; St. Joseph, St. Agnes and St. Bernard, Green Bay; Ss. Peter and Paul, Kiel. After retiring from teaching she performed various tasks at the Motherhouse.
Sr. Jacqueline is survived by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, her mother, Florence Ebben, Kaukauna; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Midge and Nicholas Ebben, DePere; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Patricia Duhnke, Blain, Wash.; Beatrice and Gerald Lemerond, Green Bay; Beerly and Larry Decker, Loudon, Tenn.; and Jacqueline and Robert Murphy, Phoenix, Ariz.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Fr. Samuel D. Jadon O.Praem on Aug. 24 at Holy Family Convent Chapel. Burial followed at Holy Family Convent Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Sister Jacquelyn Ebben, age 75, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 20, 2006, at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc.
The former Dolores Ebben was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Appleton, daughter of Florence (Hughes) Ebben and the late Nicholas Ebben. She entered the Convent in 945 and professed her vows in 1950. Sister Jacquelyn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Family College, Manitowoc, Sister Jacquelyn served as an elementary teacher at St. Paul and St. Andrew, Manitowoc, St. Anne, Francis Creek, St. Aloysius, Kaukauna, St. Joseph, St. Agnes and St. Bernard, Green Bay, St. Peter & Paul, Kiel, all of Wisconsin; Guardian Angels, West Point, Neb.; St. Francis de Sales, Manistique, Holy Name, Escanaba, both of Michigan; and St. Agnes, Mingo Junction, Ohio. After retiring from the teaching profession, she performed various tasks at the Motherhouse. She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
Survivors include The Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity her mother, Florence Ebben, Kaukauna; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Robert and Midge, Nicholas Ebben, De Pere; and four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Patricia Duhnke, Blain, Wash.; Beatrice and Gerald Lemerond, Green Bay; Beverly and Larry Decker, Loudon, Tenn.; and Jacqueline and Robert Murphy, Phoenix, Ariz. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006, at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O. Praem, with burial at Holy Family Convent Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at Holy Family Convent Chapel.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
