JoAnn M. Paules, 80, of Palmyra and formerly of Hershey passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at her home.
Born May 18, 1932 in Maddensville, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Jacka) Wible.
A self-employed beautician for over 35 years, she was the widow of Gerald L. "Gerry" Paules, Sr. who died February 16, 2010 and was also preceded in death by siblings Harold Wible and Kaye Ashman.
Surviving are her daughter Judith A., wife of Joel Groff, Sr. of Cedar Hill, Texas; siblings Dolores Ricardo of Shippensburg, Robert, husband of Betty Wible of Annville, Margaret Lane of Shippensburg, Virginia Barber of Shippensburg, Carolyn, wife of Richard Rogers of St. Thomas, Barbara, wife of Bill Shaffer of Milford; grandchildren Joel C., Jr. husband of Trina Groff and Nicole L. Groff; great grandchildren Luke, Ian and Logan Groff.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Monday, October 8, 2012 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
