He was born September 28, 1922, in Adams County, the son of the late Harry and Mabel (Fitzgerald) Kline.
Robert was a member of St. Paul's "The Pines" Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Oxford, where he was formerly a Church Council member.
He retired from Oxford Container Co. after 32 years of employment.
Mr. Kline is survived by two sons, Larry E. Kline and wife, June of Hanover, and Harold W. Kline and wife, Jo Ann of Hanover; four grandchildren, Eric E. Kline, Andrea E. Vaccaro and husband, Chris, Adam R. Kline, and Darby J. Kline; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, H. Lavere Kline; a stepsister, Dorothy Cristafaro; and his stepmother, Viola Kline.
Funeral services will be held, October 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. from St. Paul's "The Pines" Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Oxford, with the Rev. Benson Paull officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
