Jack W. Gibson, 58, of Gray, La., and formerly of Franklin, died Friday in Houma, La.
A native of Clay County, he was a son of the late Noah and Josephine Southards Gibson. He was an employee of the Terebonne Medical Center, and a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a member of Norcross, Ga. Masonic Lodge No. 228, Yaraab Shrine Temple of Atlanta, and Unity Masonic Lodge in Louisiana.
Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Bellanger of Gray, La., and Sheila Gibson of Houma, La.; two sisters, Jean Anderson of Arroyo Grande, Cal., and Tiny Greene of Franklin; a brother, G. A. Bishop of Rockford, Tenn.; and a grandchild.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, with Revs. Wiley Gibson and Wallace Tallent officiating. Bryant Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements, and Masonic lodge members conducted graveside services.
