Edward M. Holloway, 86, 7504 36th Ave., died at Brookside Nursing HOme Monday afternoon following a short illness.
He was born in Paris Township on Oct. 26, 1886, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris W. Holloway and attended Rochester Academy and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
On Nov. 23, 1912, he married Mary Remus. Mr. Holloway farmed in Bristol Township until his retirement in 1959 when he moved to Kenosha to make his home. He had been active in the Kenosha Bible church and had served as deacon for several years.
Survivors besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. John E. (Edna) Allen, Kenosha, and Mrs. Harold (Marion) Middleton, Bristol; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter, and a nephew and niece raised from infants, Wesley Bornhuetter, Kenosha and Mrs. Clifford (Alice) Soer, Bristol. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
