Henry Sheppard was born in England. He came to the US in 1855 or 1857 at the age of 10 or 12 and lived most of his life in Imlay City, Michigan. Some of his children include Daniel J Sheppard(1867 – 1905), Harry Sheppard(1869-D:1952), Louise Sheppard - B:1873, Clarabell Sheppard(1877-1936), William F Sheppard - B:1879, & Robert Sheppard(1882-1955)

Henry came between 1851-1853. The records index says May 30, 1853, but according to ages, it was probably 1851. Dad came in 1849 or 1850.
