Muriel Harmon Owens was born February 20, 1930, in Sesser, daughter of Aaron Harl and Ruth Mezo Harmon. She married James Junior Owens.
Surviving are children, Jerry (Glenda) Chastain and Terry (Debra) Chastain; step-children, Jimmy (Peggy) Owens, Linda (Rick) Bridges; Kathy (Jim) Kuberski, Patricia (Danny) Webb, Rocky Owens and Gary Nickens; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and brother, Gene Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on April 3, 2000; daughter, Donna Chastain; step-sons, Randy Owens, Victor Owens and Rick Owens and sister, Dorothy Harbison.
