Mary Louella Springer Butler, age 87, of Greenhill, Ala., passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of Greenhill, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Church of Christ on Friday, June 22, 2007, at 1 p.m., where Mrs. Mary Louella Springer Butler will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m. Kelby Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.

Survivors are her son, Glen Lee Butler, of Iron City, Tenn.; one grandson; one great-grandson; two brothers, Jessie Springer, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., W.O. Springer, of Florence, Ala.; one sister, Bessie Hammner, of Killen, Ala.; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Etta Davis Springer; husband, William Butler; daughter-in-law, Donna Butler; two brothers, Stanford Springer and Dock Springer.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Stewert, H.L. Butler, Leon Hines and Ted Short. Honorary pallbearer is Glen Gray.
