Noah Lottick died at the age of 24 after jumping from a 10th-floor window of the Milford Plaza Hotel in New York City, New York.

His association with Scientology and subsequent death was profiled by journalist Richard Behar in the 1991 Time magazine article, "Scientology: The Thriving Cult of Greed and Power".

His father Dr. Edward Lottick later published research into cults, and wrote that this interest was motivated by his son's suicide.
