Trudy Clarke was born in Paducah KY 01-03-1920. She served in the Women's Army Corp (WAC) during World War II. After the war, she finished her education and taught for a few years in Texas and Georgia. She married George Clarke in 1950 and raised her family. She was the daughter of Jessie D. and Mattie Wright Sowell.
