URIAH BRIMMER, farmer, was born in Otsego County, New York, in 1815; his father, John Brimmer, a farmer, and his mother, Amy Christian, were both natives of New York State. He was married in 1835, in the State of New York, to Miss Miranda Rowley, by whom he had eight children, Vincent, Ezra, Eliza, Sarah Ann, Malissa, George, Margrett, Mary, and Alen. Uriah lived in the State of New York until l842, when he went to Kendall County, Illinois, where he engaged in farming. In 1860, he came to Watterstown, Grant County, Wisconsin, where he purchased a farm upon which he lived the remainder of his days.
