Mnne's beautiful hand made ceramic stone was installed by her great niece, Lynda Skaddan, Philadelphia clay artist.

Minnie Snyder married William Buff in 1902. Her parents had died in 1901 leaving Minnie and her brother, Frank and sister, Lu, living in their family home along with an unmarried aunt. William moved in with them after the marriage. They lived with various members of her family for the rest of their lives, eventually moving to Landing Road in Brighton as the extended family grew. They had no children of their own but raised Minnie's four nieces after their mother died. Unsually for the time, and under Minnie's tutelage, all four girls attended college, graduating the University of Rochester between 1927 and 1933. The four flowers on the stone represent the four nieces (nee Telford), Fran (rosebud, mother of the artist), Jane (daffodil), Edythe (daisy) and Phyllis (lily).
