He was an avid golfer, loved Purdue athletics and was a faithful follower of the Cubs. Papa Jim, as he loved to be called, was loved by many for his quick wit and infectious smile.
He is survived by daughters, Judy (Gary) Colip, of Noblesville, Peggy (Steve) Whalen, of Springfield, Ohio; a son, David (Elaine) Bradshaw, of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Jon, Lindsay, Trevor, Stephanie and Tara; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Madison and Carter.
The family will gather for a celebration of his life at 3 p.m., October 22, 2012, at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette. Condolences may be offered at www.feeneyhornakkeystone.com.
