Ann Marie Tidman, previously known as Annie Broeker, died at age 55 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.

She died per her death certificate of cardiopulmonary failure precipitated by 14 months of non small cell lung cancer.

Her parents were Donald Jack Tidman and Shirley Jean Hiller Tidman.

She was married to Patrick D. "Pat" Broeker; they divorced after Pat Broeker left Scientology. She later married James A. "Jim" Logan on June 22, 1990. They were divorced August 26, 1993, after Jim Logan left the elite Scientology group called the Sea Org.

Ann served Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard from the age of twelve on board his ship Apollo. At age 24, she went into seclusion with L. Ron Hubbard. In 1983, she, her then-husband Pat Broeker, and L. Ron Hubbard moved into a 160-acre ranch in Creston, California. There she served as the primary caretaker for L. Ron Hubbard until his death on January 24, 1986. She was known to most in Scientology as Annie Broeker.

Her death certificate notes she worked as an administrator for 36 years with 24 of those years spent at 19625 Gilman Hot Springs Road, Gilman Hot Springs, Riverside, California. This location is also known as Gold Base the headquarters of Scientology.

Location of death on death certificate listed as 1830 N Bronson Ave, Los Angeles, California - (per the former Inspector General of the Scientology Religious Technology Center Mark Rathbun this is "the address of the apartment building for Celebrity Center International staff directly across the street from the Church of Scientology Celebrity Center.")

Death certificate lists informant's name as Catherine Fraser, DPOA (durable power of attorney), of same address as workplace of decedent (Gold Base, Scientology headquarters). Additionally, place of final disposition is also listed as Catherine Fraser, same location.
