Ray M. Presley, 81, of Albion
Cross Roads, Pulaski RD#4
died Friday evening January
29, 1971 at Veteran's Administration
Hospital, Syracuse,
where he had been a patient five
days.
He was born in Sandy Creek.
He was an Army veteran, having
served in France during World
War I.
He was a former resident of
Fulton and the Dugway area.
He was an ardent hunter and
fisherman, a member of the
Pulaski VFW Post and the Church
of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs
Iva Becker Presley; three
sons, Raymond of Albany, Everett
of Rockville, Conn., and
Fay Presley; three daughters
Mrs. Max Halsey of Mexico,
Mrs. Robert Gyles of Cicero
and Mrs. Charles Webb on Memphis;
two brothers, Carl Presley
of Hannibal and Theodore
Mc Carthy of Fulton; two sisters
Mrs. Arthur Burt of Canastota
and Eva Presley; 15 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday, February
1, 1971 at the Gibbs
Funeral, Home. Spring Burial
will be in the Dugway Cemetery
with full military honors.
