Funeral services will be at the Morning Star Community Church, Hamlin WV, Monday, May 15, 1989 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Newton Crockett Jr, Rev. Grover Jackson and Rev. Russell Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Stowers Family Cemetery, Palermo (Parsner Creek) WV.

He was a son of Clifford Stowers Sr. and Hulda Lovejoy Stowers, and was a carpenter and building contractor.

Surviving (in addition to his parents) his wife, Phyllis Ann Hill Stowers; one son; Seth Adam Stowers; daughter-in-law, Diana Lynn Lambert Stowers; two brothers, Rex and Byron Stowers; one sister, Tonopah Cox; two grandsons, Clifford Delmer Stowers and Joshua Adam Stowers; and several nephews and nieces.
