Graveside services for Lois Mills, 87, will be held at 3 p.m. today, November 25, 2000, in Gilbert United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Phillips officiating. Memorials may be made to The Gilbert United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 142, Gilbert, SC 29054. Charles R. Shealy and Son Funeral Home of Batesburg-Leesville is in charge.
Miss Mills died Thursday, November 23, 2000. Born near Gilbert, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Mills. She was a member of Gilbert United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Lexington School District #1 working in Gilbert schools.
Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, one being Carl (Buck) Asbill who lived with her for a number of years.
