Of Jackson died at Southeast Missouri Hospital. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion F. Proffer, she married George Rhodes Feb. 16, 1913 at Whitewater.

Active in the Democratic party and regularly visited residents at Deal Nursing Home in Jackson. Member of Whitewater Baptist Church.

Survived by a son, Raymond Rhodes; daughter, Mrs. Mullen Rhodes, Mrs. Glenn Chandler and Mrs. Edgar Jones; sisters, Mrs. Hugh Allman, Mrs. Snoda Simmons, Mrs. Georgia Barks and Mrs. Meddie Herzinger; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Service at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
Burial at Stroderville Cemetery.
