Susanna McAfee became the bride of Robert McKamey on 21 Feb 1809 in Mercer county, KY. In 1826 they emigrated to Howard county, Missouri and lived near Fayette. After a year they moved to western Boone county and then in 1829 settled in Callaway county. They had a very successful farm operation and acquired large landed interests.
