Frances Catherine Kohoutek Jenicek Danner was the daughter of Ludwig and Frances Holick Kohoutek. Born 29 June 1911 in Owoss Shiaw, Michigan. Ludwig and Frances died unexpectedly just day's apart in October of 1918 in Chicago. It was the peak of the influenza outbreak that killed 10's of thousands of people. Mostly young adults. Ages 25 to 45. Her 2 brothers Ludvik and Frank were placed in the St Joseph Orphanage in Lisle, DuPage, Illinois and on 9 July 1921 they were adopted by John Cyril and Elizabeth Amelia (Kastl) Rerucha . In 1920 USFC Frances is listed as the daughter of John S. and Catherine Jenicek. In 1930 USFC she was living with John S. and Catherine Jenicek as a boarder and used the name Catherine Kohoutek. On the 28 January 1941 she married Carl V. Danner using the last name of Jenicek. They had 3 children Ruth 1946 and the other 2 are unknown. She also had a sister, Anna who was born in 1914. It is not known what happened to Anna after her parents died but on 24 Aug 1935 in Owosso, Shiawassee, Michigan she married Joseph J. Bartek. By 1940 Joseph and Anna had 3 daughters Joan, Marie and Elizabeth.
