BOOTH, Bill, 76, of Ridge Manor, Fla., went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, September 2, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family. Bill was born in Homosassa, Fla., November 11, 1934, to Horace Edward and Mildred Jones Booth and was a resident of Ridge Manor for 40 years. He was a member of the Gant Lake Baptist Church and had been active with the Trilby Masonic Lodge. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma Booth; his children, Joe and Marianne Booth, Cathy and Mark Evans; grandchildren, Lacy and Rachael Booth, Morgan Hunt and Katie Brown; one great-grandchild; and many close friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to HPH Hospice.
