Dianne Hale Chandler, 56. of Terre Haute died in Regional Hospital on August 18, 2010 at 9:11 a.m. She was born in Terre Haute on August 31, 1953 to Robert W. Hale and Pauline Esther (Banyas) Hale and they have preceded her in death. She was homemaker and had also worked at Regional Hospital for 13 years in medical records. She was a graduate of the former Honey Creek High School and had attended Indiana State University. She is survived by her only child, Lindsay Chandler, the love of her life and soul-mate Irvin Jack Lowe, both of Terre Haute; one brother David Hale and his wife Cheryl of Plainfield, one niece Tamara Lindsey of Terre Haute and one nephew Robert Hale of Daytona Beach, FL. She loved her three cats, gardening, fishing, horse racing, and helping people. Even through tough times she found a way to smile. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation or the ALS clinic for research. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Services will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Richard Swan officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Carlisle.
