Charity, died on Thursday morning, April 29, 2010, at Holy Family Convent,
Manitowoc.
The former Anna Kerch was born on Feb. 5, 1920, in St. Anna, Wisconsin, daughter
of the late Paul and Theresa (Uerling) Kerch. She entered the Convent in 1933,
and professed her vows in 1938. Sister Angelo earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree
from Holy Family College, Manitowoc, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Dietetics from Fontbonne College, St. Louis, Missouri. Sister Angelo served as
a dietitian at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, Holy
Family Convent, Manitowoc; Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, Ohio; and
St. Francis Memorial Hospital, West Point, Neb. She also served as a homemaker
at St. Ambrose, Ironwood, Mich., St. Mary, Kaukauna, and performed various tasks
at St. Francis Convent, Manitowoc. She retired to St. Rita Health Center at the
Motherhouse in 2004. She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian
Charity.

She was also preceded in death by Sister Leo Kerch, OSF and Sister Ernestine
Kerch, OSF.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Holy Family
Convent Chapel, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be
the Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O.Praem., with burial at Holy Family Convent Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc,
from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at
Holy Family Convent Chapel.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
