Mrs. Hazel MacDowell
Mrs. Hazel Z.[sic] MacDowell, 65, of 1510 Franklin Ave., formerly a saleswoman at Livingston's Department Store, died at 11:30 a. m. Friday at Brokaw Hospital.
Her funeral will be at 10 a. m. Monday at the Beck Memorial Home. Burial will be in Fort Rosencrans National Cemetery, San Diego, Calif.
She was born in Macomb Aug. 8, 1892, daughter of Charles and Frances E. Arnold Hering. She was married to Maj. Everett MacDowell June 5, 1919, in Norfolk, Va. He preceded her in death, The couple had no children.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ardelia Coley, of the Franklin Street address; Mrs. Wilbur Anderson, and Mrs. Frances Johnston, both of 901 S. Vale St.; a brother, C. W. Hering, 21 Berenz Pl.; five nephews.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist.
