MRS. AIRIE C. BONSELL

Mrs. Airie C. Bonsell, 900 Pennsylvania ave., died Wednesday, Sept.
13, at 5:45 p.m. in the Tyrone Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 11, 1900, at Tyrone, the daughter of John I. and
Clarissa (Grady) Patterson. She was first married Aug. 7, 1919, to
Charles W. Walker, who died Oct. 9, 1919. On July 11, 1922, at
Cumberland, Md., she was married to Charles M. Bonsell, who died March
30, 1948.
A lifelong resident of Tyrone, she is survived by these children:
Clarence W. Bonsell, Souderton; Mrs. Gene (Elda Mae) Swanner, Glen
Burnie, Md.; Kenneth H. Bonsell and Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) L. Stimer,
both of Tyrone; 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by the
following children; Charles B. Walker, Ralph H. Bonsell and Betty Jane
Bonsell.
She attended the Tyrone Free Methodist Church and the Tyrone Mission,
and was a member of the Gold Star Mothers.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Getz and
Searer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bryan K. Swartwood and the Rev.
Donald R. Roher officiating. Interment will be made in the
Grazierville Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday until the hour of the service.
