Katherine/Catherine Piantkoska/ Piontkowski was born on April 2, 1885, in Poland to Antonina Babula and Wamrzniec Piatkowski. She married Andrew Mazurek in her hometown. They had 16 children in 23 years - 7 who died at birth or shortly after and are all buried in Ware Massachusetts where they lived before coming to New Jersey. She died on February 18, 1974, in Linden, New Jersey, at the age of 88, and was buried in North Arlington, New Jersey.
