Maude A. Fuller, 93, Kokomo, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006, in her home. She was born Dec. 27, 1912, in Waupecong, a daughter of John David and Fannie (Metzler) Hammer. On Oct. 25, 1930, she married Chester D. Bone, who died July 15, 1958. On Feb. 18, 1966, she married William George Fuller, who died Jan. 5, 1978.
She attended Kokomo High School. She worked part time at Joe?s market, Don?s Market, Bozard?s Grocery and Haynes Stellite, but she was first and foremost a homemaker.
She was a member of ABATE of Indiana, Howard County Overseas Club and Gray Ladies for Red Cross. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, gardening, doll collecting, motorcycle riding and babies. She loved to listen to and follow ?Pickin? & Grinin? ? Country Gospel Music.
She is survived by her children, Norma Jean and husband Thomas Bozard , Jacquelyn L. Hood, Joycelyn K. Wilgus, Robert W. and wife Janice Hammer; grandchildren, Rebecca and husband Leonard Lastovica, Danny Bozard, Yvette and husband David Longfellow, Virginia and husband Robert Lawson, Janea Stroup, Carlette and husband Ron Green, Melody and husband Craig Barnett, Sherri Hammer, Craig and wife Andrea Evans, Stacy and husband Clint Lawson, Staci Evans, Lora Lee Copeland, Michael and wife Debbi Copeland, Troy and wife Kimberly Copeland, Jennifer and husband Tod Moore; 35 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one daughter, Marge Evans; one grandson, Glen Bozard; and two great-grandchildren. She was the last survivor of a family of 12.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Willard Bolton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
