Michael A. "Mike" Daggett, 50, of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

He was born on January 29, 1962 in Winchester. He was a self-employed musician, playing as a free lance drummer for different bands. He liked restoring old drums and also enjoyed old motorcycles and cars. Mike loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his former wife, Cheryl Goodhew; his children, Matt Camden and Veronica "Nicki" Garner; his grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, Noah, Damian, Raylin and Aiden; his mother, Mary (Monroe) Wilker; his siblings, Steve Daggett, Sandra Cline, Timothy Daggett, George Daggett, Lisa Spillman and John Daggett; his best buddy and dog, "Sparky"; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Daggett Jr., and a sister, Diane Wickens.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester. Friends and relatives may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
