A Poem In Memory Of Josiah Puffer

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice, that says,
"Grieve not for me. Remember
the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was here.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine
through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so be stalwart and
courageous keep up your spirit.

Until the day comes.....and we're together again,

Dear Photo Volunteer,

Would very much appreciate your expertise
in taking and adding monument photos to the
memorials of the below family buried
in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Spring Prairie
Walworth County, Wisconsin, USA

A well taken photo of a tombstone, does so
much for a memorial.

A clean, attractive monument is so important
In the eyes of a family member, it represents
the deceased, this may be their only opportunity
to see the burial place of a favorite ancestor.

Taking along a pair of scissors and ridding those
pesky weeds surrounding the stone is a big plus.

The photo also does so much to complete a FAG memorial,
and you alone are so important in that happening.
Your name below the photo will be the one, others
will see, and seek out to request your help with other
memorials in this cemetery or those in the area.

Thank you so much for your time and effort. It is
so very much appreciated.

Sincerely, Janet Milburn
