A native of Portland, he started a career as a printer in Oregon City 35 years ago. He worked in a print shop in Laguna Beach, Calif., until four years ago, when he became an employe of Hallwyler Printer Co. here. He was a member of Elks Lodge and the Printing Pressman’s Union.
He was survived by the widow, Alice E.; daughters, Patricia Hatcher of Astoria and Jacqueline Schmidt of Petaluma, Calif.; sons, Robert Seaton of San Francisco and William Seaton of Wood River, Ill.; brother, Michael Sarsfield of Oregon City, and 11 grandchildren.
