Funeral for James P. Gibbons, 56, of 2604 NE Flanders St., will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Caldwell’s Colonial Mortuary, with interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery. He died Friday at Physicians & Surgeons Hospital.
A native of Portland, he started a career as a printer in Oregon City 35 years ago. He worked in a print shop in Laguna Beach, Calif., until four years ago, when he became an employe of Hallwyler Printer Co. here. He was a member of Elks Lodge and the Printing Pressman’s Union.
He was survived by the widow, Alice E.; daughters, Patricia Hatcher of Astoria and Jacqueline Schmidt of Petaluma, Calif.; sons, Robert Seaton of San Francisco and William Seaton of Wood River, Ill.; brother, Michael Sarsfield of Oregon City, and 11 grandchildren.
