Mrs. Gibbons was born Nov. 10, 1908, in Ottowa, Kan. Her maiden name was Ripple. She was raised in Kansas and moved to Portland in 1958. She was a seamstress for Jantzen Inc. for about 15 years, retiring in 1973. In 1955, she married James P. Gibbons; he died in 1963.
Survivors include her sons, Bobbie D. Seaton and Billie D. Seaton; daughter, Jacquelin Talbot; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Disposition is by cremation. Arrangements are by Ross Hollywood Chapel.
