Judy Consuelo Baca Medina was born on March 7, 1940, in Del Norte, Colorado. She passed away on July 22, 2023, at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Josie Baca, her daughter Anna Marie and three brothers, Ivan, Abraham, and Johnny.

She is survived by two daughters, Katherine Diaz from Kersey, Colorado, and Alice (Weldon) Hunt from Pagosa Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and four great, great, grandchildren.

She is also survived by two brothers, Steve Baca from Pueblo, Colorado, and Joe Jr. (Pat) from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Five sisters, Lucinda Valdez, from Alamosa, Colorado, Cora Cagle from Modesto, California, Berlinda Carlisle from Santa Clarita, California, Shirley (Joe) Hileman from Montrose, Colorado and Diana Hamlow from Grand Junction, Colorado.

Judy Will be remembered for her beautiful smile, the twinkle in her eye, a contagious laugh and the tenacity to accomplish the life skills she needed to attain the joy of life for herself and for others. Forever in our thoughts and in our hearts. Rest in Peace JUDY. A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Monte Vista. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at the Monte Vista Cemetery in Monte Vista.
