Anne M. Daniel, 77, of Park Street, Wrentham, died on January 4, 2009 in West Palm Beach, FL. She was the loving and devoted wife of William L. Daniel Sr and to whom she was married for nearly fifty-five years. Born in Milton, Oct. 13, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Lehan) Mulhern.

She was a graduate of the Mission High School in Boston, and attended the Framingham State College. A retired Clerk for the Department of Corrections in Norfolk; she had been a crossing guard for the Wrentham Police Department at the King Philip Regional High School. She had also been a Truant Officer for the School District and at one time had worked in cafeteria at the Wrentham Public Schools.

She was the loving mother of Elizabeth and her husband Stanley Suchocki of Hubbardston, William L. Daniel of Wrentham, John C. and his wife Deborah Daniel of Cumberland, Robert K. and his wife Sandra of Wrentham, Christopher and his wife Donna Daniel of Seekonk, and Carl and his wife Barbara Daniel of Douglas. She was the dear sister of John D. Mulhern and Ruth Mulhern, both of Charlotte, North Carolina, and of Helen Hillier of Falmouth. She was the devoted grandmother of five grandchildren, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre, on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 140 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre. Burial will follow in the Wrentham Centre Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Atlantic Midwest Province, Dept. of Mission Advancement, 345 Belden Hill Road, Wilton, CT 06897 Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
