SANFORD -- Barbara O'Quinn Brewer, 74, of Sanford, passed away on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.
She was born on June 2, 1936, in Lee County to the late Arthur and Lula Thomas O'Quinn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Brewer, and sisters, Zettie Osborne, Polly Childress and Mildred Dowdy; and brother, Conley O'Quinn.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea B. Terrell and husband James of Sanford, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Christopher Terrell and Brooke Terrell of Sanford, N.C., and Kevin Terrell of Fayetteville, N.C. She is also survived by two sisters, Beulah Bosher of Sanford, N.C. and Dorothy Armentrout of Hopewell, Va. and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at Miller-Boles Funeral Home in Sanford.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Miller-Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Sanford with the Rev. Dale Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford.
