The birth of this child is recorded in the Wiliam Sinclair bible. At the time of the 1840 Wayne County, Tennessee census there was two young females under the age of 5 years old in the household of William Sinclair. As William and Mary had another daughter named Mary born on Feb. 8, 1846, it would appear that this child died sometime between 1840 and 1845.
When I visited this cemetery on three different occasions I did not find a gravestone for this child. However, the ground was covered with a thick layer of leaves and sticks. The timing of her death leads me to believe that she is indeed buried in this cemetery in what is now an unmarked or undiscovered grave.
