Sister Josita, nee Kathryn Brosnakan Belger was born April 3, 1898 in Waukesha, Wis., daughter of the late Otto and Kathryn Brosnakan Belger. She entered the Order of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity in 1914 and professed her vows in 1917. She received her Master's degree from Marquette University and from 1917 to 1943 taught in elementary schools in Antigo and Clarks Mills, Wis.; Mingo Junction, Ohio; Manistique, Escanaba, Petsoskey, Cross Village and Menominee, Michigan, retiring to Holy Family Convent in 1977.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Irene Wedyck and Miss Josephine Belger of Waukesha.
Friends may call in St. Mary Chapel in the convent 7:30 to 9 o'clock this Monday evening where a memorial service will be at 7:15 o'clock.
