Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Dr. Willie E. "Buff" Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Terrel married Verdi Wright on Dec. 7, 1938. He retired from Santa Fe Railroad as a locomotive engineer. He was a member of Palo Duro Masonic Lodge #1239 and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Mr. Terrel was a memeber of Kingswood Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Gary Terrel of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Shannon Starrunner of Washington, D.C., Ruthanne Terrel of Dover, Del., and Andy Terrel of Chicago; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Kingswood United Methodist Church, 4801 S. Austin St., Amarillo, TX 79110.
