[The] Funeral for Glenn William Brumm will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Gable Funeral Home. Private burial will be in River View Cemetery. He died Thursday in his Northeast Portland home at the age of 74.
Mr. Brumm was born in Burlington, Iowa, and moved to Portland in 1945. He served in the Army Signal Corps and Army Air Corps during World War II, and he served in Alaska during much of the war.
He worked for Keeler-White Electric Work and Cable Company in Portland from 1946 to 1952. He then lived in California for eight years, returning to Oregon in 1960. He worked as an auditor for the tax division of the Oregon Employment Division, first in Portland, then in Salem, until his retirement in 1975.
Survivors include a son, Thomas of Portland; two sisters, Frances Panther of Iowa, and Odetta Harris of California; and two grandchildren.
The family suggest remembrances be contributions to the American Cancer Society.
