"Gertrude E. Beck, 78 a former garment worker, died Monday at 3:15p.m. in the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was taken there by ambulance after being stricken at Brereton Manor Nursing Home, Washington Boro, where she resided.
She was retired from the former Little Prince Garment Co. , Columbia, and had been a member of the International Ladies Garment
Workers Union. The widow of Henry F. Beck, who died in 1976, she was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Mount Joy R1. She was born
in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Chainey and Mary A. Frey Eisenberger.
Surviving are a son, Robert E. Dressler, Springfield, Va.; a stepdaughter, Betty, wife of Robert Smith, Quantico, Va.; seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild and two sisters, Edna, wife of Norman Miller, and Mrs. Catherine Rice , both of Salunga. "
