Carol Brent Anderson, 67, of Ripley, born Apr. 08, 1943 in Louisville, Ky., died Aug. 12, 2010, peacefully at her home after a long illness. Daughter of Mitchell A. and Lola Mae (Meece) Hill.
She was a Christian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Anderson; her father, Mitchell Hill; a sister, Sharon; a brother, John; and a daughter, Alice M. Fields.

She is survived by her mother, Lola Mae Hill; and a sister, Joyce, both of Louisville; sister, Kandace of Gallatin, Tenn.; son, Harry Anderson; and daughter, Linda Fields, both of Gandeeville; a daughter, Judy Markham of Charleston; her sisters-in-law, Reva Anderson of Spencer, Jeanette Anderson of Gandeeville and Charlotte Anderson of Valrico, Fla.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and worked several jobs outside the home during her life, most recently as an accountant. She loved her family, friends and the simple things in life. She will be missed by all.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, in the Anderson family cemetery, Harmony, with the Rev. Larry Jones officiating.

There will be no visitation.
