She was the kindest lady I ever knew. I miss her so much. My siblings and I discovered she didn't have a stone after 50 yrs and we saw to it when I was in Montrose last summer that she was finally going to get it. Now it has been set. I think she would love it.

Durango-Mrs. Nora E. Biggs, 83, a two- year resident of the Evergreen Nursing Home in Montrose, died there Sunday evening.
Born Feb 28, 1884, in Kansas she spent her childhood at St. Johns, Kan. She was a resident of Durango for 54 years before moving to Montrose.
she and her husband, Edward Biggs, were married in Durango in 1946. Mrs. Biggs is a member of the free Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Eugene Dolan of San Jose, Calif., James R Dolan of Baker, Ore., John A. Dolan of Rohnert Park, Calif., and George L. Dolan of Albuquerque; a daughter Mrs. Henry (Velma) Kolz of Montrose; a brother Charles Leatherman of Oklahoma, Three sisters, Mrs. Eva Haslan of Pittsburg, Kan., Mrs. Verlie Keller of Stanford, Kan., and Mrs. Eva Roder of Hutchinson, Kan.; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the Free Methodist Church. The Rev. Aaron H Gray will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenmont Cemetery.
