Willa I. Means (nee Sholes), 92 years old, of Elyria, Ohio died on Monday, May 30, 2011 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria.

Mrs. Means was born on November 13, 1918 in Weston, West Virginia and lived in Elyria for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elyria Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Colbert (Peggy) Miller of Warren, Ohio and Mrs. Frank (Lynette) Reinheimer of Port Clinton, Ohio; one son, Steven Means of Elyria; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Ron Sholes of Weston, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Means in 1975; one daughter, Cathy Croft Means in 1983; one son, David Means in 1989; two brothers, Wilfred and Frank Sholes; two sisters, Charlene Sholes and Alfreida Klicker; and her parents, William Henry and Dolly (nee Harper) Sholes.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 4, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.

The Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio is handling the arrangements.
