Madge Nadine Weatherwax, born July 31, 1920, passed away September 11, 2012 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Casper Wyoming.

Madge was a business woman who opened shop in the 1940's, long before the Women's Movement. Madge owned and operated her own Beauty Salon in Thermopolis, WY after receiving her Diploma from Halls School of Beauty Culture in 1945.

She played tennis into her late 70's, belonged to the Humane Society, VFW Auxiliary, and other organizations. She loved playing cards and games with her kids, Madge graduated from NCHS, class of 1938 and lived in Wyoming most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lois Uncapher; two sisters; her first born son, John Mahaffey and her former husband and lifelong love, Douglas Weatherwax. She is survived by her daughter, Nita Lowndes; sons, Robert Weatherwax and Ronald Ennis; sister, Lucy Bensinger; first-born granddaughter, Kathleen; grandchildren, Dean, Shane, Kriste, Lori, Amie, Rob, Michael ,Richard, Debbie, Laurie, Billie Joe, Kristina and Joel and numerous great grandchildren.

Services are pending at Bustard's Funeral Home at a later date. She will be sorely missed with her love, wit and humor.
