She was predeceased by her husband, Claude L. Barber.
Mrs. Barber is survived by her special companion, Edward Mack; her daughters, Claudia L. Fiske and husband Daniel E. Fiske, Coventry, Janet R. Loudon and husband Donald Loudon, Greene, and Colista L. Galloway and husband Mike Galloway, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeanette Ingraham, Norwich; and also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Barber retired from RiverMede Manor Nursing Home. She was a long-time member and officer of the Alice Rebekah Lodge 419 and the Moose Chapter 502 in Sidney. She also enjoyed many activities at the Eastern Broome Senior Center in Harpursville, and enjoyed dancing at the Singles Club in Oneonta.
Memorial services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple St., Harpursville, on Saturday, April 17, 2004, at 1 p.m., the Rev. Douglas Horne, pastor of the Nineveh Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Coventryville Cemetery, Coventry, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Isabel Lillian Rose Barber, may be made to American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
