MILLERSBURG-Charles H. Stoneroad, Jr.-79-of 277 Tarry Hall Road died Sunday July 25, 2004 at his residence. He was born in Upper Paxton Twp. the son of the late Charles & Irene Krotzer Stoneroad, Sr. He retired from the former TRW in Harrisburg. He was a founding member, elder and high priest of the Millersburg Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; member of VFW Post #5507 and American Legion #326; a Army veteran of WWII; a volunteer with the Dauphin county meals on wheels program.
He was preceded in death by a son Stephen. Surviving are his wife Geraldine Bechtel Stoneroad; a son John and a daughter Lola Zankiewicz both of Millersburg; a brother Marion of Enola; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday July 28, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Hoover Funeral Home in Millersburg. Burial with military honors will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
