Roman Frank Stasny 73, of Taylor, went to be with his heavenly father Saturday, September 22, 2012.
Roman is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Claudette Rozacky Stasny. He is also survived by his two loving children, Suzanne Rieger and husband Kelly of Thorndale and Scott Stasny and special friend Stephanie Jones of Taylor. Grandsons Heath and Seth Rieger of Thorndale. Brother-in law Laurence Rozacky and wife Dorothy of Rock Port, Sister-in-laws Dorothy Rozacky, Loretta Buzan and Bertha Sefcak of Taylor and Louise Rozacky of Granger, Numerous Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.
Roman was preceded in death by his father Edward Stasny, mother and stepfather Edward F and Christine Drozd Bartosh of Granger.
Roman enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing dominos. He loved camping and cookouts with family and friends over the years. He cherished the time he spent with his children and grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Loeve, Donald Kovar, David Rozacky, Trey Buzan, Wayne Kubacak and Darvin Bucek.
Visitation and Rosary will be at 6:00 – 8:00 Monday, September 24th, at Condra Funeral in Taylor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00, Tuesday, September 25th, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor. Burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Granger.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
