Motion-Picture Director, Writer, Producer. Born Cecil Antonio Richardson in UK, he was educated at Wadham College, Oxford. Richardson’s films include "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning," (1960) "A Taste of Honey," (1961) and "Tom Jones" (1963), which won an Academy Award. He was married at one time to Vanessa Redgrave, with whom he had two daughters; Natasha and Joely Richardson (also actresses).
